Athletic organizations are seeing the benefits of artificial turf and opting to replace their natural grass with artificial turf.
One of the nicest things about installing artificial turf is the low-maintenance nature of it. In addition to not needing water like natural grass, you don’t have to mow it and it’s created to absorb high-impact sports play.
The Police Athletic League, however, has said it would prefer artificial turf because it’s cheaper and easier to maintain. As of last night, it appears that the Police Athletic League is getting its way. It informed City Council that it plans to tear up the grass install artificial turf.
