Nothing beats the feeling of a great workout. Every day, tens of thousands of Americans hit the gym to meet their fitness goals. And today’s athletes want more variety and flexibility in their training.

What if there was a way to give gym members a better training experience while enhancing their workout atmosphere? Installing artificial gym turf is critical to the success of every fitness program.

Benefits

Artificial turf adds color and texture to gym environments, helping members feel more comfortable and inspired in their workouts! Beyond aesthetics, turf offers a wide variety of benefits compared to other gym floors like carpets, concrete, or rubber.

Carpets wear down over time, developing holes and rough patches. These can snag on equipment or even cause people to trip. It also holds onto dirt, sweat, and odors, leaving your gym smelling unpleasant. In order to avoid this, you have to spend time and money cleaning those carpets and frequently replacing them.

Concrete gym floors can’t stand up to challenging workouts. They crack under the stress of heavy equipment. Not only this, but they don’t offer any shock absorption for athletes who need to protect their joints from tough impact.

Rubber floors have become popular, but they have their issues as well. Rubber can become slippery when wet, which is a huge issue for anyone who sweats while exercising. It can also become discolored and start to smell after only a few months.

Recycled artificial gym turf from AGR is durable and built to handle abuse from constant training. Its no slip surface can take a beating from repeated running, jumping, or any other physical activity while offering comfortable cushion and support to protect joints.

You can drop plates and dumbbells without worrying about damage to the surface, unlike concrete and it won’t hold onto odors, unlike carpet. It’s also perfect for sleds, workout tires, and other nontraditional equipment that requires a durable surface.

But the benefits don’t stop for indoor gyms. Gym turf makes for a better athlete experience both indoors and out! Real grass requires a ton of maintenance, wears down easily, and won’t hold up to repetitive athletic use. Artificial gym turf can last years, even decades before needing to be replaced and requires very little maintenance.

With turf from AGR, you can create both a beautiful and practical workout space for gym members that will last.

Our Turf

Artificial Grass Recyclers offers a wide selection of used turf products for your gym. First, check out our recycled turf. Sourced from community sports fields, our recycled turf is built to withstand heavy use, making it perfect for your workout space. Not only this, but it costs 50-75% less than brand new turf, so it’s perfect for every budget.

Agility Turf is made to perform. Every blade is composed of tough polyethylene slit-filament yarn, that’s as durable as it is gentle. A 5mm foam backing provides an extra level of support for even the most explosive training sessions. It also comes in a wide variety of colors to choose from.

Our Eco 59 Silver Hybrid is perfect for sports fields and outdoor facilities. This product offers the same look and feel as natural grass, but with a much more reliable performance. Eco 59 uses a combination of mono-filament and slit-filament yarn. Mono-filament offers a natural look, while slit-filament fibers reduce infill migration.

Impact Pads and Accessories

When choosing artificial gym turf, it’s also important to consider an impact or underlayment pad to provide extra support and protection for your athletes.

Our impact pad is made of recycled cross-linked polyethylene foam for consistent cushion and stability. We recommend installing an impact pad under your outdoor gym turf to enjoy maximum performance. Impact pads are also an important thing to consider for outdoor turf because they offer good drainage during wet weather.

Underlayment pads are good for indoor use because they add extra support between turf and subfloor. Not all underlayment is limited to indoor use. Our 8mm XPE Shock Pad is a durable shock-absorbing underlayment designed for both indoor and outdoor use.

We also carry a wide selection of installation accessories, including premium infill materials.
