Artificial grass provides several benefits homeowners find appealing during the drought; In addition to reducing water usage, artificial grass also reduces the time and money required to maintain the appearance of your front yard, which can be a burden to those who look forward to spending time with their friends or family on the weekends.

Homeowner Mike Corwin installed artificial grass in his front yard, and says the investment was worth it.

“The initial cost is expensive, but it’s already paid for itself over the four years. Not having to re-sod it, not having to water. The yard guys [come less often]. So it’s more than paid for itself,” said Corwin.
