Residents in the southwest are turning to professionals to install artificial grass as a way to overcome the five-year drought. It’s just become too difficult to maintain a natural lawn without exceeding statewide water restrictions.

On top of that, the actual cost of water has increased dramatically due to the water conservation efforts.

“Graham said he installed fake grass about three weeks ago after seeing his water bill nearly triple following rate hikes.”
